Layla's Story

Layla isn’t just a brand. She’s every woman who has faced long nights — in the hospital, in study halls, or in life itself. Nights of work, nights of waiting, nights of persevering when the world was asleep.

The name comes from Layl — the Arabic word for night. For some, it means the quiet hours of caring for patients through a shift. For others, it’s the hard nights of pushing through challenges, carrying responsibilities, or chasing dreams. Layla is for all of them.

Our founder, Amna, a doctor herself, spent years in scrubs that never felt right. Too tight, too boxy, too uncomfortable. She wanted scrubs that were practical enough to work in, flattering enough to feel confident in, and modest enough to reflect who she is.

So she designed them.

But Layla Scrubs isn’t just about the clothes. It’s about the women behind them.

Every design is dedicated to a powerful woman in Amna’s life — women who persevered through their own nights with strength, grace, and resilience. Each collection will carry their name and their story, a tribute to the mothers, sisters, colleagues, and women who inspired Layla’s vision. When you wear Layla Scrubs, you don’t just put on a uniform. You carry with you the legacy of women who refused to give up, women who turned their nights into chapters of courage.

Every detail in Layla Scrubs has a purpose: the high-performance fabric that keeps up with you, the adjustable waist tabs that move with your day, the long sleeves that offer coverage without compromise. More than clothing, Layla Scrubs is a community and a reminder that you don’t have to give up who you are to do the work you love.

This is Layla’s story. And maybe, it’s yours too.
